The closure of the era of chemical imaging coincided with the turn of the 21st century: now is the perfect time to review what photography has been, consider what it is now, and contemplate what it will become. With contributions from 20 collectors and scholars, the collections in this book range from 1840–1940, including camera obscuras and cyanotypes to autochromes, stereoscopes, daguerreotypes.

Also included are American tintypes and ambrotypes, the miniature and intricate stanhopes, magic lanterns and other optical toys, megalethoscopes, and zoetropes, and many more. Each collector has written a meticulous study to introduce their photographic passion, and with over 500 images (most never before published) of cameras and photographs alike, the truly marvelous nature of the camera and the miraculous technologies that enabled them are revealed.

This place is awesome! They had just about every scale model manufacturer represented. Some of the decals in the huge drawers were out of production rare! The largest scale aircraft section between Little Rock and Kennesaw I have seen.
Half the hobby side is train stuff, and they have a large RC section. There was also a more thrift-type side that was interesting to browse. Just come and look!

Absolutely love this store. Am a kit builder and they have a wide collection of those, most any brand you can think of. I try and spend my money here as opposed to the almighty eBay or Amazon since I'd like to think I help keep this place open. All sorts and brands of paint to feed my airbrush. For non modelers, they have a phenomenal collection of RC, an inside slot car track, an offroad RC test track for smaller off road cars. An amazing collection of train models and trains. Ho type stuff. I'm not into those but they have a huge variety of this stuff. Then a bunch of collectibles and a card playing corner. Definitely worth a visit!

An amazing Mecca of rc/modeling hobby supplies and goods. The aisle of model paint will bring happy tears of elation to those who paint. Also they have an amazing crawler table set up for rc cars.
