Ultimate Handling for Extreme Performance

The Traxxas Maxx offers more power than ever before into a 1/10 scale monster truck platform. To take things up another level, the Traxxas WideMaxx kit extends the track width by 20 mm per side, allowing you to bury the throttle in the turns, soak up even more extreme terrain, and come out the other side ready for more.

The WideMaxx kit consists of extended versions of the Maxx's extreme-duty cold-weather suspension arms, available in 6 total colors to allow you to customize your truck to your style. Additionally, new springs are included for the rear of the truck to dial in the suspension settings, while the original rear springs move to the front for optimum balance and performance. Finally, a set of wider toe links for the front and extended driveshafts for all four wheels finish out the new widened stance.

Installation is simple, thanks to the Maxx's thoughtful engineering throughout which makes removal and replacement of the included components quick and easy. The option to utilize existing components including the stock axles saves time and gets you back to the action with a whole new driving experience even faster.

Steel CV Driveshafts

Built to take brutal punishment in stride, the Maxx's optional steel CV driveshafts 8996X are extended specifically for the WideMaxx kit. The set features all-steel construction and includes all required bearings. (8654, 8654G, or 8654R and 7758, 7758G, or 7758R required for a complete set). Shafts also available separately (8996A).

TUBES Toe Links

TUBES lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum toe links are 30% lighter than steel and stronger than titanium. These are the strongest toe links you can buy for your WideMaxx. The secret is in the unique hollow tube design that maximizes stiffness and resistance to bending, while at the same time reducing weight. TUBES are the perfect high-performance upgrade for your WideMaxx and come brilliantly anodized in four different colors: orange (8997A), green (8997G), red (8997R), and blue (8997X).

Hardened Steel Suspension Pins
Give your WideMaxx-equipped truck maximum strength and durability with a full set of 8940X hardened-steel suspension pins. Precision fit and a low-friction finish deliver extra-smooth suspension action, and the pins are captured by button-head screws and retaining caps for secure installation. The complete set includes sixteen inner and outer pins for the upper and lower arms, four steering block kingpins, all required hardware, and illustrated instructions.

This place is awesome! They had just about every scale model manufacturer represented. Some of the decals in the huge drawers were out of production rare! The largest scale aircraft section between Little Rock and Kennesaw I have seen.
Half the hobby side is train stuff, and they have a large RC section. There was also a more thrift-type side that was interesting to browse. Just come and look!

Absolutely love this store. Am a kit builder and they have a wide collection of those, most any brand you can think of. I try and spend my money here as opposed to the almighty eBay or Amazon since I'd like to think I help keep this place open. All sorts and brands of paint to feed my airbrush. For non modelers, they have a phenomenal collection of RC, an inside slot car track, an offroad RC test track for smaller off road cars. An amazing collection of train models and trains. Ho type stuff. I'm not into those but they have a huge variety of this stuff. Then a bunch of collectibles and a card playing corner. Definitely worth a visit!

Trains, RC cars and planes, models, games, and all the paints you could want. The staff are super friendly and will order anything they don’t have.
