This updated and upgraded version of the E-flite UMX WACO is now equipped with optional-use SAFE Select that makes it more stable than ever before, plus exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® that keeps things smooth so it feels like you’re flying a much larger model, even in windy conditions. The factory-installed brushless power system features an upgraded 2S- and 3S-compatible outrunner motor. Install 2S 280mAh batteries for performance similar to the original model, or use 3S 300mAh batteries for more speed and unlimited vertical performance. The control unit includes an ESC and Spektrum™ receiver that provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters while you fly. I needed something very weird for a 3d printer part and crossed my fingers when I went to this shop as they deal mostly with a different style of hobbies. They not only had the screws I need but also had something that I didn't know existed and was exactly what I needed to make my repair. They have my business now and I am excited to return for more items.
This place is awesome! They had just about every scale model manufacturer represented. Some of the decals in the huge drawers were out of production rare! The largest scale aircraft section between Little Rock and Kennesaw I have seen.
Half the hobby side is train stuff, and they have a large RC section. There was also a more thrift-type side that was interesting to browse. Just come and look!
Absolutely love this store. Am a kit builder and they have a wide collection of those, most any brand you can think of. I try and spend my money here as opposed to the almighty eBay or Amazon since I'd like to think I help keep this place open. All sorts and brands of paint to feed my airbrush. For non modelers, they have a phenomenal collection of RC, an inside slot car track, an offroad RC test track for smaller off road cars. An amazing collection of train models and trains. Ho type stuff. I'm not into those but they have a huge variety of this stuff. Then a bunch of collectibles and a card playing corner. Definitely worth a visit!
The improvements are really great . We had a great day just hanging out . We were made to feel like family .We are RC inthusists . But found a ridiculous amount of things we are all interested in . We couldn't leave . Thank you midsouth hobbies ❣️ good job .
An amazing Mecca of rc/modeling hobby supplies and goods. The aisle of model paint will bring happy tears of elation to those who paint. Also they have an amazing crawler table set up for rc cars.
I have been a big fan of the store for a while, but the recent renovations are blowing me away. This is a great store full of every materials for all hobbies. Trains, RC cars and planes, models, games, and all the paints you could want. The staff are super friendly and will order anything they don’t have.
