This model kit in 1/20 scale recreates the Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr. 5 (originally sold as Item 20009 in 1978; not motorized this time) with Cartograf decals, slick tires, and instruction manual. The Toyota Celica LB Turbo was a Group 5 car developed for the 1977 DRM (German Racing Championship). Based upon the road car Celica Liftback, the car featured aerodynamic components such as bulging over fenders and rear wing and employed numerous FRP body panels. An extensively modified body and 2,090cc, 560hp inline-4 DOHC turbo engine were utilized for its racing endeavors. This car made its debut in July 1977, and in October of the same year, it beat the Porsche 935 and achieved its maiden victory.

This place is awesome! They had just about every scale model manufacturer represented. Some of the decals in the huge drawers were out of production rare! The largest scale aircraft section between Little Rock and Kennesaw I have seen.
Half the hobby side is train stuff, and they have a large RC section. There was also a more thrift-type side that was interesting to browse. Just come and look!

Absolutely love this store. Am a kit builder and they have a wide collection of those, most any brand you can think of. I try and spend my money here as opposed to the almighty eBay or Amazon since I'd like to think I help keep this place open. All sorts and brands of paint to feed my airbrush. For non modelers, they have a phenomenal collection of RC, an inside slot car track, an offroad RC test track for smaller off road cars. An amazing collection of train models and trains. Ho type stuff. I'm not into those but they have a huge variety of this stuff. Then a bunch of collectibles and a card playing corner. Definitely worth a visit!
