10700091 N Pennsylvania 65' 70-Ton Mill Gondola
This G-26-class 65’ mill gondola was designed to haul finished structural steel shapes and other bulky loads, and featured drop ends that allowed the gondola to carry loads longer than the car. Pennsylvania was a large Class 1 railroad formed in 1846 and grew to be a predominant shipper on the east coast until 1968 when it merged with rival New York Central to form Penn Central.
